Gugulethu Sofia Mbatha more known by her stage and screen name Gugu Mbatha Raw. Her popularity grew for her role in the BBC television series of science fiction called Doctor Who. Handler has also worked as a correspondent for The Tonight Show. Handler got her most famous break in 2006 when she was named host on E! The Chelsea Handler Program. The show ran for two seasons. Handler was then seen in the United States in the Comedy Central Hour Stand-Up Comedy Tour. Her stand-up performances have been broadcast by VH1 as well as Comedy Central's Premium Blend and HBO. In 2010 the MTV Video Music Awards 2010 were revealed. This made her the first woman to host the VMA's following Roseanne Barr.
